The people on the other side of your listing
West Coast Cowdogs isn’t a general agriculture site. It’s built for one community, and the people who use it fall into three groups.
Ranchers and producers
Running cattle, sheep, or goats on twenty acres or several thousand. They’re here for a dog that saves them hours of work. They buy fence, feed, mineral, kennels, trailers, and vet services.
Handlers and competitors
On the road most weekends hauling to trials and clinics. They’re here for the calendar, for studs, and to sell started dogs. They buy kennels, transport, supplements, and gear that survives the truck.
Breeders and trainers
Running breeding programs and board and train operations. They’re here to be found by buyers. They buy by the case and by the pallet.
I wanted to reach the people that didn’t have social media. The common rancher that is out working cattle from sun up to sundown that doesn’t have time to scan through endless websites looking for a trusted, reputable breeder.

Why businesses join early
Businesses that join West Coast Cowdogs now have the opportunity to grow alongside a community built specifically for working stockdogs and agriculture.
Founding advertisers receive early visibility, help shape the Business Corral, and establish their presence before the directory reaches its full scale.
We’re building this for the long term, and we’d rather grow with the right businesses than fill pages with companies we wouldn’t recommend ourselves.

Working with West Coast Cowdogs is the kind of partnership everyone hopes for! Very professional and great communication! They’ve been great for K10Canine products helping to spread the word on our part and having a partnership with Westcoast Cowdogs has definitely helped give us credibility when we started getting our products into the market!

Straight answers before you sign up
How many people will see my listing?
We’re not going to give you a number. Any number we gave you this year would tell you more about how new we are than about how many of your customers are here. What we can tell you is who’s on this site and why they came. Everyone here works stockdogs or serves people who do. A small room full of the right people beats a large room full of the wrong ones. If you’d rather wait until there are numbers worth showing, take the free listing and watch what happens.
Will I get reports on clicks and views?
Not yet. We’d rather say that plainly than hand you a dashboard full of numbers that don’t mean anything. When we have reporting worth sending, advertisers will get it. Until then, the honest way to measure us is to ask new customers how they found you.
How is this different from advertising on Facebook?
Targeting. Facebook can put you in front of people interested in dogs. It can’t reliably tell the difference between a rancher who needs a dog to move cattle and somebody scrolling puppy photos. Everyone on West Coast Cowdogs came here for working stockdogs. You’re not paying to filter an audience down. You’re starting with one.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Everything’s free right now, so there’s no contract and nothing to cancel. Your listing stays up as long as your business is running. If we add paid tiers later, they’ll be month to month, cancel anytime, and founding advertisers keep their free spot.
Can I be the only business in my category?
Category exclusivity isn’t part of the published tiers, but it’s worth a conversation. Email us and we’ll talk about what makes sense for your business and for the people using the directory.
What happens after I sign up?
You pick a tier and build your listing. Free and Featured go up the moment you hit publish. No queue, no approval to wait on. Premium is the exception. Those are built by hand, so that one comes to us first and we put it together with you. All three are free, so there is nothing to pay. Every new listing comes across our desk the same day it goes up, so we know who is in the corral.
